Le Pradet, an authentic and natural place to discover

8 km from Toulon and 14 kms from Hyères, the tourist resort of Le Pradet has managed to preserve the authentic charm of southern villages.

Between wooded pine-covered hills and paradise beaches, Nature celebrates the marriage of Provence colors: the blue of the sky and the sea; the golden colour of the sun, sand and rocks; the emerald colour of vineyards and forests.

Here we are on the wild coast of the French Riviera.

The village of Le Pradet covers 230 hectares of natural spaces.

The Cravéro Park and the Courbebaisse Woods

Opened from 1 January to 31 December

Cravéro park : Splendid wooded park in the heart of the village, with Mediterranean and exotic plant species, impressive “spectabilis” bare-trunk palm trees and a lovely fountain dating back to the 16th century.

Young and old alike will have the pleasure to discover parakeets and parrots, a mansion which is home to the Town Hall as well as a playground area for kids.

Courbebaisse woods: Pleasant wooded area, one of the last Mediterranean forests where we can discover various species of Mediterranean sages and melliferous plants, as well as a small “priest garden”.

Massif of the Colle Noire:

This massif is a property of the Protection Committee for coasts and sea shores (“Conservatoire de l’espace litoral et des rivages lacustres” )

It is managed by the local District Community TPM (“Toulon Provence Mediterranée”) and the National Forest Conservation body ONF (“Office National des Forêts”).

It is a natural and fragile space, we do expect you to fully respect it.

Traffic and parking are prohibited in the forest, including bikes and horses.

On the massif of the Colle Noire, hybrid bikes are tolerated on DFCI tracks (Fire-fighting tracks), except during exceptional closing measures of the massif.
Please do not go up the slopes as it damages the development of the local vegetation.

The massif is opened to the public except in case of fire hazard. Please refer to panels on the gates of DFCI tracks.

The Discovery Trail Jean François Jubé

The trail set up by the town and rehabilitated by the district area aims at the preservation and valorization of the natural heritage. It starts in front of the entry of the Museum of the Mine of Cap Garonne.

The vines’ trail

In the heart of Provence

Imagine a small road in the heart of the countryside and vineyards all around.
You decide to stop in this vineyard and visit the cellar. In there, you will be able to taste local red, white, and rosés wines.

Among them, taste the grape variety of the Mediterranean area (Tibouren), a famous wine recognized by the experts, which dates back to the Antiquity.
